MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR COMPREHENSIVE AND INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE INSTITUTE (CIMI), DAEGU CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER(DCUMC), DAEGU HAANY UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER(DHUMC) VS. Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center was signed on the 16th of March, 2011.
In response to the requirement of Comprehensive and Integrative Medicine Institute (CIMI) project funded by Korean government, CIMI, DCUMC, DHUMC and Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, Shanghai Shuguang Hospital, Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM and Guangdong Province Hospital of TCM enter into this Memorandum of Understanding in order to promote, facilitate and consolidate international cooperation in medical treatment, diagnosis, education, and research, to contribute to the health of humankind eventually. Through friendly discussion, all Parties have reached the following agreement.
Share their experience and expertise in medical care and management.
Agree to share medical information/data/ideas.
Agree to collaborate to act as liaisons on research in basic and medical science and the development of new and medical equipment.
Agree to facilitate exchange programs, as desired, for faculty members, residents, nurses, medical technicians and medical students.
Agree to cooperate in extensive, high level joint symposiums and seminars.
Agree to cooperate in a video conference for medical treatment, diagnosis, education, and research.
Agree to collaborate in medical consultative activities, such as referring patients, hospital management etc.
Agree to found an academic society and a research journal committee.
Agree to cooperate in commercialization of medical products and fund exchange.
